HELP GOBBLE GAIT CELEBRATE 25 YEARS IN 2022!

For the past 25 years, Gobble Gait has been a Hastings tradition on Thanksgiving morning. Thousands of runners and walkers start their holiday in downtown Hastings with the 8K or 2K race in support of Hastings Family Service.

Gobble Gait, LLC is seeking design submissions for its 25th anniversary race shirt that creatively celebrates this tradition of coming together in the Hastings community to support our neighbors in need.

The winner of this contest will have their design featured on the 2022 25th Anniversary Gobble Gait race shirt, worn by more than 3,000 runners, walkers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters on Thanksgiving morning.  The winner will also be recognized publicly and will receive a free 8K race registration (includes race shirt).

DESIGN GUIDELINES

• Design should be sized to fill the front of an adult-sized long sleeve t-shirt.

• Design should incorporate the following elements: the name “Gobble Gait” and/or the Gobble Gait logo, “Hastings, MN/Minnesota,” the year 2022, and that it is the 25th anniversary year.

• Design must be in a digital format and submitted as a high-resolution pdf file.  Vector file preferred for final design file.  

 

TERMS

By submitting an entry, the designer consents that it is the designer’s own original work and that the designer has all necessary rights and permissions to use any included elements. The t-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning designer grants Gobble Gait, LLC the exclusive right to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used on promotional/marketing and other Gobble Gait, LLC materials. The designer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Gobble Gait, LLC from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of any violation of third party rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, dilution or violation) in connection Gobble Gait, LLC’s use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the design.

Designs will be considered on the following criteria:

• Concept and originality

• Successfully capturing the spirit of Gobble Gait and its 25th anniversary

• Visibility (Is it eye catching and visible from a distance)

• Feasibility (Is the design production-ready and easy to reproduce)

 

The winning designer agrees to provide Gobble Gait, LLC with high resolution design files (vector file preferred) and work with Gobble Gait, LLC to make requested modifications (if any) in a timely manner to meet production deadlines.
